Read this first
You only need to do 3 things total. Do them in order. Do not skip ahead. If you get stuck, read the yellow boxes that say "LOOK FOR THIS."
What you are doing (in plain English)
The website needs to know you are a real person. To finish, you will open a small box on your computer called Run, paste some text into it, and press Enter.
That is all. Nothing else.
Your 3 jobs (check them off as you go)
Job 1: Open the Run box
Job 2: Paste the text into the Run box
Job 3: Press Enter
Job 1 - Open the Run box
Easiest way
Use two keys on your keyboard
Find the Windows key on your keyboard. It looks like a little flag or 4 squares. It is usually at the bottom-left of the keyboard, next to the Ctrl key.
LOOK FOR THIS:
A key with a Windows logo (4 small squares). Not the letter W. Not the space bar.
Put one finger on the Windows key. Keep holding it down. Do not let go yet.
While still holding the Windows key, use another finger to tap the letter R one time. Then let go of both keys.
Windows
andR
A small window should pop up. At the top it says Run. There is a white typing box that says Open: next to it.
LOOK FOR THIS:
A small box. Title at top: "Run". One empty line to type in. Buttons at bottom like OK and Cancel.
Click one time with your mouse inside that empty white line (the Open box). You should see a blinking line. That means you are ready for Job 2.
If that did not work
Search for Run using the Start button
Do these steps one at a time:
Look at the very bottom-left corner of your screen. Click the button that looks like the Windows logo. That is the Start button.
LOOK FOR THIS:
A colorful Windows icon at the bottom-left of the screen. On older computers it may say "Start."
A menu will open. Do not click anything yet. Just start typing the word run on your keyboard. Type: R-U-N.
You should see something in the list that says Run. Click it one time with your mouse.
LOOK FOR THIS:
The word "Run" in the search results. It may say "Run app" or have a tiny box icon next to it.
The same small Run window should appear. Click inside the white Open box so you see the blinking line.
One more way (if you still cannot find it):
Right-click the Start button (click the right mouse button, not the left).
A menu pops up. Click the word Run.
Click inside the white Open box.
Job 2 - Paste the text
Get the text ready
Copy the verification text
Click the big green button below one time. That copies the text for you. You do not need to understand the text. Just copy it.
If someone already clicked "I'm not a robot" on the other page, the text may already be copied. Click the green button anyway to be safe.
This is the text (you do not need to read it - just copy it):
Put the text in Run
Paste into the Run box
Go back to the small Run window. Click inside the white Open box so you see the blinking line.
Hold down the Ctrl key (bottom-left of keyboard, says Ctrl). Keep holding it.
While holding Ctrl, tap the letter V one time. Then let go of both keys.
CtrlandV
You should now see a long line of text appear in the Run box. That is good. Do not change anything. Do not delete anything.
LOOK FOR THIS:
The empty box is now filled with text. Lots of letters and symbols. That means paste worked.
Nothing showed up? Click the green "Copy the text" button again. Click inside the Run box again. Press Ctrl and V again.
Job 3 - Finish
Last step
Press Enter
Look at your keyboard. Find the big key that says Enter. On some keyboards it is a big sideways L-shaped key on the right side.
LOOK FOR THIS:
A key labeled Enter or Return. Often on the far right of the keyboard.
Press Enter one time. Do not hold it. Just tap it once.
You are done. The verification should finish. You can go back to the website page.

I pressed Windows + R and nothing happened
Use the Start button method in Job 1 instead. Click Start, type run, click Run.
I cannot find the Windows key
Skip the keyboard shortcut. Use the Start button. Click Start at the bottom-left, type run, click Run.
I pasted but the box is still empty
Click inside the white box first. Then click the green copy button on this page. Then press Ctrl and V again.
I am on a phone or iPad
This only works on a Windows computer (a PC or laptop). Ask someone to help you use a Windows computer.
I am scared to break my computer
You will not break anything. You are only opening Run, pasting text, and pressing Enter. If you are unsure, ask a family member to sit with you and read these steps out loud.
